The Volkswagen Beetle is perhaps the flagship of VW’s “cars for the people”. However, its rate of depreciation is ghastly. A 37% drop within the first 12 months of purchase is enough to discourage any potential buyer. Due to a scandalous report released regarding the software cheat that VW developed to fly through emission tests, VW has taken harsh criticism. VW Beetles have dropped immensely since September 18th, 2015 – a depreciation rate of almost double!
